The Hidden Geometry of Life|
人生の隠された幾何学」
People try to change their lives
by endlessly adding more.
More knowledge.
More effort.
A different environment.
New connections.
Better strategies.
And yet, somehow,
they find themselves returning to the same place.
Even when love changes,
even when work changes,
even when the city they live in changes,
they are drawn back —
as if by an invisible thread —
toward familiar pain,
familiar longing,
familiar endings.
Life is often believed to be overwhelmingly complex.
But perhaps, in truth,
it is governed by surprisingly few hidden cores.
At the heart of Phenomenological Mathematics
is the idea that:
“Phenomena are complete in themselves.”
The world simply appears as it is.
Before interpretation,
there is no success or failure,
no worth or worthlessness.
And yet, humans immediately place meaning onto what appears.
“This is how it should be.”
“I must be this way to be loved.”
“This is the only way this has value.”
The moment these conditions are imposed,
the phenomenon begins to close.
In reality,
a single phenomenon contains countless possible connections.
Loneliness can become
absence,
creation,
silence,
or a form of perception.
A wound can become
defeat,
sensitivity,
beauty,
or a doorway to others.
But people insist on fixing things
into a single meaning.
And once that happens,
life begins to converge around that interpretation.
Mathematically,
it resembles restricting the domain of a function.
A function originally capable of far broader behavior
is forced into:
“Only look here.”
And so, perhaps what closes life
is not reality itself,
but the unconscious assumptions
through which we perceive it.
And deeper still:
Many of the patterns people endlessly repeat in life
are generated from a single hidden point.
“If I am not recognized, I have no value.”
“I do not want to be abandoned.”
“If I am not perfect, I cannot exist.”
“I cannot bear to be left behind.”
That single point
chooses love,
chooses work,
shapes the flow of money,
determines urgency,
and quietly governs the mechanics of an entire life.
People are always trying to change
surface-level phenomena.
But what truly moves the whole system
lies much deeper —
within the smallest hidden point.
The symbols floating throughout this painting
are not meant to explain answers.
They are traces of the invisible equations
quietly governing human life from beneath the surface.
Perhaps people spend their entire lives
circling around
a single unconscious assumption
they never even realized they were living inside of.
