まだちゃんと蛇が生きていたこと
それがあるなら、大丈夫
石の中の不易な肖像
儚いとはいえ、
化石となった色調を孵化してみよう
僕を隠すためじゃなく、
僕をもまた咲かすために
あなたを隠すためじゃなく、
あなたをもまた咲かすために
Somewhere along the way,
I lost the thread.
Beyond the doors I closed,
and closed again,
I lost the will to live,
and forgot how to live at all.
Where did the soul
that slipped from my mouth
finally go?
The memory of death
still beckons from afar.
So perfectly
it hides who I am,
that perhaps,
little by little,
I will forget myself again.
And yet, after all these returns,
even as something within me
keeps vanishing beyond recall,
there remains an apple,
whispering:
“Please… let me be free.”
To trust that apple is frightening.
But when we find a place
where we can believe
we are not alone,
perhaps we can begin to live again
through the time we thought was lost.
For there was truly a serpent
alive within me.
An unchanging portrait
sealed inside stone.
Though fragile,
let the fossilized colors break their shells and return to light.
Not to hide who I am—
but so that I, too,
may come into bloom.
